10:37AM - Help, I'm trapped in a box and somebody's stepping on my head!

This is, like, SO uncool. Totally.

So, Mom got married, right, and she like didn't even invite me, or even *ask* if I wanted to come ('cause, I mean, like duh I'd be there! Party dress and cake, durr...) and then she put me and my sisters all in this box, right, and put the top on, and like we've got no idea where we're at or how long we've been here. It's like totally boring, and there's not even any creepy stalker dude to shoot or anything. What's up with that? I bet those big resin dolls didn't get stuck in a box for weeks. I'm like, *so* pissed. WTF?

3:50PM - from Alistar's galactic travel notes:

Greetings, fellow travelers!

I am visiting in the north of a place called Virginia, which is very nice, except that they are having a rainy spring, and so the weather is not as warm as I had hoped. The company is excellent, however, and I have made a great many new friends. The above picture was taken on a day trip to the capitol of the country I am currently staying in. Thanate, my hostess, and the Rastafarian Nautiloid (who is also in the picture) went with me, and we visited several museums with exhibits on various aspects of the culture and biology of this planet. All in all it was a fascinating day.

One of the other creatures (one Psychokiller Barbie) who lives in the house I am staying at has graciously loaned me the use of this journal to write about my stay here. I hope that any readers enjoy hearing about my experiences, and I will try to do better at keeping up with what I've been doing now that I have permission to write about it here.

This was my favorite of the many works of art that we had the good fortune to look at. Please note the lovely scarf that a young boy named Waif loaned to me for the day; without it I'm sure I would have come home with some sort of illness from the chilly air.

8:12AM - We've got company...

Everybody meet Alistar! He's a foreign-exchange alien who's living in Portland, OR, but he'll be visiting us for, like two months or something. He's kind of cute, and I promised mom not to shoot at him or anything.

He's like really hit it off with that new giant Astrid chick, and the Glass Nuisance. Anyways, mom's like all taking him to concerts and tourist stuff while he's here, so that's kind of cool. Oh, and we got rid of that gloomy wizard guy while Al's here. He's like, got some sort of journal on this craft forum or something... I think it's like here or something, but there's this whole lot of exchange people going on there, so the page takes like totally forever to load. 'k, later!

8:40PM - yeah! things that go boom!

So, we've got no school tomorrow for, like, president's day or something, and I'm totally going to the firing range to try out my sweet new semi-automatic machine gun. My mom got it for me like weeks ago, but I've been so busy with winter guard that I haven't had *any* time when the range was open. It's been driving me freaking crazy!!! But it'll be all better tomorrow. I'm *so* totally psyched! I just hope I'll be able to sleep tonight. ;P

8:31PM - from the gloomy corner...

As if it weren't enough to be surrounded by small violent women, there's now a herd of small violent horses here too. One of them bit me, and it glows blue when the sun shines through it. I'm just waiting for my leg to swell up and glow blue, too. I'm sure it's only a matter of time. How I miss the days when I was shut up in a box, and life was terribly boring.

9:35PM

I no see why my sister like not the zombies. They good creatures, much with useful for the frighten and tear people apart. Perfect for the invading, and the keeping of order after. I have great army by soon, before she fix all this demon managing she try to do. The demons, they not good. Not good at all. Much harder to control, and do not respect the flesh and the potions, only their hexes and signs. But my sister, she is young, she no listen. The young they are foolish, make these mistakes. At least she does not try to summon the demons herself.

8:45PM - I got a letter!

see? (ok, well, my sister did anyway) and it totally sucks that I didn't see this until last night, and we didn't even have off school for the holiday. My district is *so* lame, sometimes.

----

Dear Ms. Alycen,

I’m SO sorry I didn’t get back to you before! I was at a winter guard competition all weekend (which we rocked! totally!) and my gypsy sister says it’s bad enough if I make her write letters, she’s not going near the computer. lol! She’s really smart, but she’s not too good at spelling and stuff, you know. So, anyways, I’m looking at like next March for the invasion timeline, after the winter guard season is over, of course. And real demons would be totally cool—my gris-gris sister says they’re too dangerous for her, and that zombies are much better anyway, but she doesn’t seem to get that I want the demons attacking on land before a fleet could land zombies anyway, and it would be way cool if they could distract the coast defenses, too, while the ships are coming in. That girl has no head for tactics, seriously. Oh yeah, and my gypsy sister tried to summon a demon once, but all she got was that total loser “wizzard” who doesn’t do anything but sit in the corner and whine that he’s scared of girls.

Anyways, I would love <3 it if there’s a demon free, and you can say that I totally don’t mind if they take out all the military zones, and buildings associated with the old government, so there’s lots of destruction to do. It’ll be fun!

luv,

5:50PM - that is so rude

I just got this letter today and that is so totally ticking me off. I mean, duh, I'm only in, like, high school, but that doesn't mean I'm stupid. I'm not going to go around asking some pirate to be part of my government or anything! If he can't handle a temporary alliance for profit, then I totally don't want to work with him anyway.

And seriously, it's just my senior project, it's not like I'm planning my retirement or anything. He can keep the cigars-- they're just nasty, and Castro is like, dying and stuff anyway. It's not like I want to invade someplace really nice before I've tried it out and see if I really like being a dictator anyway. I might hate it.

Ok, maybe I'll wait a little bit before I write back. Wouldn't want to come across too bitchy, right? LOL.

7:44PM

So, my mom is out of town for like, the next two weeks. Woot! Party at my place! j/k. (she's coming back for the weekends!) ;D But I mean, seriously, it's like totally rude and thoughtless of her not to take me along when she's going to be in DE all week. Like, the home of tax-free shopping. How cool is that? And I'll bet she's not even going to bring me anything.
